Orthoceras is an extinct species of cephalopod that lived approximately 400 million years ago and whose fossils are now found in the Baltic region and Morocco. The fossil on this piece lends lots of character and accents the root-like pattern of the opals while the handcrafted, Thai fine silver beads and button provide some shine.
